Dienstag, 8. Juni 2010 Dear participants, sponsors, partners and stage towns,It has been you, who made Germany’s most important mountain bike stage race what it is now – the “Tour de France for mountain bikers”. We hope that all of you enjoyed the races as much as the whole organisation crew and its staff did. And of course: we would like to welcome you again next year at the 5th Trans Germany.  Finally, we want to give all finishers credit for their performance: On the men’s side, 472 of the former 577 starters made it to Bregenz, in the ladies competition, 110 (126) cycled all the way to Lake Constance. In addition, 374 (462) masters and 100 (122) senior masters conquered all of the 286.13 kilometres and 7,212 metres in altitude. In total, 4/5 of the field which line up at the start in Garmisch-Partenkirchen mastered the race. |
