Preview Stage 2

Lermoos - Pfronten

Although it’s not such a tough up and down, the well-known saw blade profile filters through.

In addition, the 82 kilometres and its 1,200 metres in altitude including a maximum altitude of 1,500 metres doesn’t look that difficult, but the leg will take a lot of strength as the path is climbing from the start on.

Three ramps to conquer

The participants conquer the first climb out of three of the day by passing Bichlbach and Berwang on their way to Weißenbach.

When reaching the lowest point (according to the altitude profile) it’s not time for a rest as the mountain bikers have to climb again – this time steeply upwards to Gaicht and Adlerhorst.

On a flat section to Tannheim and Zöblen those riders with taut calves will push the pedal to the metal before the last challenge on their way to Lermoos stands in their way. They have to master the uphill to Fallmühle.

Thereafter, it’s a nice descent to Pfronten.
