The special classifiers

The first one is the best climber classification for the ”Green jersey of the Bayerischen Staatsforsten powered by fi´zi:k”.

On every stage there is one best climbing category in which points are awarded for the first riders on top of the peak – so, this year it’s not about a net time from start to finish of a climbing trial.

The fastest ten mountain bikers can earn, according to their ranks, 25, 20, 16, 13, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2 or one point.

The team classification presented by Syncros ist the other one.

In addition, every rider has the chance to join a team which has to consist of a minimum of four mountain bikers in order to get ranked in the team classification presented by Syncros.

To guarantee a fair battle with the same mathematical odds for everyone, regardless of sex and category everyone starting in, the organisers developed a formula to calculate the team’s result which stood the test last year already.

Formula to calculate the team result and classification:

Only the fastest four of each team will make up the daily result by their personal points

The personal points are = best time of the day in the category * 1000 / own time

The four personal best results will be summed up to the team’s result being decisive for the winning team of each stage
