Bischofsheim a. d. Rhön sends six local boys

Five of them have worn the Bischofsheim jersey at last year’s edition already; only Christian Eckert from Oberthulba is new.

”Make it, healthy and without crashes”

“Make it, healthy and without crashes” is the strategy for the upcoming four days. In addition, all six mountain bikers are keen to find out how the new route design from Garmisch-Partenkirchen via Lermoos, Pfronten and Sonthofen to Bregenz will be – and of course, how the new stage towns will welcome and handle the field of 1,200 bikers.

Although the six-pack has to travel the route far away from home, all can be sure of their home town support. Bischofsheim’s major Udo Baumann and Michael Pfaff, CEO of the tourism board Bayerische Rhön, a sponsor of the team, are both big fans and hope that the team does well.

Support the team with their colours

If you want to support the six riders from Bischofsheim you can do so by buying the official outfit online (www.bischofsheim.info): jersey € 50 and jacket € 75.
